The Top End is teeming with wildlife! They have more than 100,000 crocodiles (that is probably more than the population in Darwin), various ant species and massive spiders!
Mark and I were walking through this jungle and he was whinging about not seeing a snake and he nearly walked into a spider the size of his hand! When we were on our way to a place called Windows of the Wetlands, we saw these layers upon layers of webs. It felt like that scene in LOTR where Frodo got trapped in this cave with sticky webs and a giant spider was after him. LOL!
It is 40 degrees in Melbourne and the flat that we are renting does not have air conditioning. Thought it would be a great idea to work in the office instead where it is cooler. I know I should not be complaining about the heat, with other countries going through typhoons, floods, tornados but I guess whinging is in my blood!

Mark and I had fun in Top End but the heat was unbearable! The last couple of days were just spent just hanging out in the hotel room. The most fun was in litchfield national park where we saw the Wangi falls. It was a pity that most of the areas in kakadu park are closed due to the cyclone but otherwise, it was a fun holiday. Mark and I are thinking of going to NZ next year.
